A funeral will be held Thursday 9/10 for a Long Prairie woman, 86 year old Janet Schmidt. She died September 4th at CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie. The service for Janet Schmidt is set for 11:00am, Thursday, at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00pm and one hour before the service at the church. The Rosary being prayed at 3:45pm. on Wednesday.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 9/12 for an Osakis man, 83 year old Lawrence "Lonnie" Iverson. He died August 26th. The service for Lonnie Iverson is set form 11:00am, Saturday, at Salem Lutheran Church in Osakis. Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the church and on hour before the service at the church.
