A woman has died after being struck by a falling tree limb in rural southern Minnesota. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says it was called at around 2:40 p.m. Monday to a home on the 14000 block of 112th Avenue in Linden Township after a report a woman was struck in the head by the limb. “Emergency responders began CPR and other life saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene because of her injuries,” the sheriff’s office said. The woman’s identity has not yet been released, with her family still being notified.
