Two Men Die In one Vehicle Crash

Two 22-year-old men from Warren, Minnesota, died Saturday, Oct. 31 in a single-vehicle crash on County Road 20 in Polk County, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said. The sheriff’s office identified the men as Johnny Alexander Ortiz and Devin Michael Casares. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies responded at about 11:50 a.m. to a report of a crash on County Road 20, about a half mile north of 150th Street NW. A person who was passing by found the vehicle overturned and resting on its roof in a water-filled drainage ditch, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies and the Warren Fire Department arrived and found the two men inside the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
