On Saturday, at approximately 2:00pm, the Minnesota State Patrol responded to and investigated a three-vehicle crash on Highway 71 near Hope Drive, just north of Long Prairie. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the initial crash involved two vehicles that were northbound when one struck the other from behind. One of those vehicles then struck a southbound vehicle. There were reported non-life threatening injuries but none of the occupants were transported by ambulance. The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by Long Prairie Police Department, Todd County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Long Prairie Fire Department, Long Prairie Ambulance and the Browerville Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation.
