Sauna Fire

A fire that started in an outdoor sauna damaged an adjacent steel building Saturday night in rural Otter Tail County, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. Otter Tail County dispatch received a report of a structure fire in the 51000 block of County Highway 51 at approximately 10:49 p.m. Saturday from Becker County dispatch, the sheriff’s office said. The fire is believed to have originated from an outdoor sauna, which damaged an adjacent steel building. No injuries were reported. The fire does not appear to be suspicious, the sheriff’s office said. Fire departments from Frazee, Wolf Lake, Perham and Vergas responded to the scene. The State Fire Marshal’s Office also assisted.
